This month our theme is Sugar. Stories of everything sweet, delicious and syrupy. Donuts, sweets and bubble tea. Caramel, toffee and chocolate. Molten sugar, sugar cubes and sugar cane. Icing, custard and cake. Strawberries and cream watching tennis, sweet popcorn at the cinema, and candy floss at the fair. E-numbers, artificial flavouring and sweeteners. Saccharin sweetness, overbearing cuteness and nauseating sentimentality. Diabetes, decay and corrosion. Sugar dissolved in water and Absinthe, and sugar pills promised to cure you. Sugar babies, sugar daddies and the pursuit of sweetness of all kinds. Temptation, seduction, corruption.
